About Us

Welcome to Caught Stealing Brains comic review blog! We review a different webcomic every week, but we also may do commentary on print comics and individual pages that strike our fancy. We strive to do fair reviews, which is why we have multiple volunteers reviewing.

Next Review: Odd Fish

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

So, we’ve updated a little bit here on Caught Stealing Brains, but not quite to the point that I wanted. Unfortunately, other issues kept pounding me. Hopefully they will get put up shortly, so in the mean time…
Our next review is:
Odd Fish
I feel like anything I have to say about this webcomic would spoil your [...]

Next Review: Caribbean Blue

Monday, March 10th, 2008

I realize things are a bit slow in CSB land, but a number of things are going on in the background while we put up with content slumps. First of all, I’ve disabled the visual editor for writing posts. I changed this because it was causing too many issues, such as crashing and losing content [...]

Next Review: Skin Deep

Monday, January 7th, 2008

So, Happy New Year everybody. I know that seems a week late, but things seemed to have really been put on hold for the holidays around here.  There is quite a bit of news around these parts, in case you haven’t been reading the forums.
First off, with great disappointment I must say that Kaj has decided [...]

Wake Up Call

Monday, November 26th, 2007

So did our experiment work, or did CSB die a sudden and unexpected death? We’ll find out when We return!
Royal Rainbow!
Okay, so aside from figuring out what I did during my Thanksgiving weekend, we haven’t had much in the way of posts here. That means I’m really going to have to check on what everyone [...]

Next Review: Minus

Monday, October 8th, 2007

Well, this appears to be a successful week. The forums and blog have been updated, everyone got their reviews in within the week, and one of my prior posts seems to have spurred some interesting discussion. So in short, I’m rather happy with these past developments. Hopefully we can keep it up.
Our next review is:
Minus
I’ve [...]

Next Review: xkcd

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

So, it’s that time again for the next update to the blog, on what people should be looking into for the week.  I don’t have much to say as for a recap of the past few weeks, but contributors and people looking to join should probably peek at the forums if they want to talk [...]

Archive Troubles

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Gak! All right, hopefully everyone has not gotten too far in Carpe Diem. It seems the archives are a little screwed up. When I was going through the comics, somehow we jumped from the cover of Chapter 4, to some filler comics, and then to the cover of Chapter 6. So Issues 4 and 5 are apparently missing!
Fortunately, [...]

Next Review: Looking for Group

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Just in case people missed it, I put up a new category for if anyone feels like reviewing a comic on their own time. For the time being it’s called “I Do My Own Stunts,” as a reference to basically taking the reviewing plunge on your own. My only requirement would be that if you do [...]

IDMOS: Kimono’s Townhouse

Friday, August 24th, 2007

Sometimes I really wonder if I should be the one who is in control of what comic we read next. Today is one of those times. Usually this comes up when I’m looking for the next week’s selection. I stumble across new webcomics in the oddest places, and sometimes my link clicking habit (although not [...]

Fifth Review: HERO

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

So, this is probably an unexpected update. I think our next comic will take some extra time to review, due to it’s layout, so we might as well start now.
HERO
This comic is set up a little differently. In order to read the text, you need to mouse over the comic panels. Sometimes there is more [...]
